Ryan Rodney Reynolds, born on October 23, 1976, in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada, is a Canadian actor, producer, and entrepreneur known for his sharp wit, versatile talent, and charismatic screen presence.

Reynolds began his acting career in the early 1990s, appearing in several television series, including Hillside (1991–1993). His early work in comedy led to his first major recognition with the sitcom Two Guys and a Girl (1998–2001). He transitioned successfully to film, appearing in romantic comedies like Definitely, Maybe (2008) and The Proposal (2009) alongside Sandra Bullock, which established him as one of Hollywood’s most charming leading men.

His career took a major turn with the superhero genre. After appearing in X-Men Origins: Wolverine (2009), he became globally famous for his role as Deadpool, first released in 2016. The film, praised for its humor and originality, became one of the highest-grossing R-rated movies of all time, earning Reynolds a Golden Globe nomination and solidifying his status as a major Hollywood star. The sequel, Deadpool 2 (2018), was equally successful.
