Ruwaida Attieh (Arabic: رويدا عطية), born on July 1, 1982, in Talkalakh, Syria, is a Syrian-Lebanese singer and actress known for her powerful voice, emotional depth, and mastery of classical Arabic music. She rose to fame in 2003 as the runner-up of the first season of “SuperStar” (the Arabic version of Pop Idol), where she won the hearts of millions across the Arab world with her authenticity, elegance, and vocal strength.
