RICKY MARTIN

Enrique José Martín Morales, better known as Ricky Martin, was born in 1971 in San Juan, Puerto Rico. He is a globally renowned singer, songwriter, and actor who began his musical journey in the mid-1980s as the lead vocalist of the famous Latin boy band Menudo.

He has sold over 60 million records worldwide.

Throughout his career, Martin has earned numerous accolades, including Grammy Awards, Latin Grammy Awards, Billboard Awards, and MTV Awards, cementing his status as a pioneer of Latin music on the global stage.

Beyond music, Ricky Martin is a dedicated human rights activist. As a UNICEF Goodwill Ambassador, he founded the Ricky Martin Foundation, which fights against human trafficking and child sexual exploitation through initiatives like People for Children. He has also participated in various charity events, including Pavarotti & Friends.
