Nawal El Zoghby

Nawal El Zoghby (Arabic: نوال الزغبي), born on June 29, 1971, in Jounieh, Lebanon, is a Lebanese singer and one of the most influential female artists in the Arab world. Known as “The Golden Star” (An-Najma adh-Dhahabiya), Nawal has enjoyed a career spanning more than three decades, characterized by her captivating voice, glamorous image, and ability to continuously reinvent her musical style.

From a young age, Nawal showed a deep passion for singing. She began performing in school and local events before officially launching her career in the late 1980s. Her big break came after appearing on the Lebanese talent show Studio El Fan in 1988, which opened the doors to a promising career in music.
