Marcos Palometas

Marcos Palometas is a Spanish flamenco guitarist and composer born in Granada (April 15, 1983). He began studying flamenco guitar at just 10 years old under masters such as Enrique Canastero, Alberto Fernández, Jorge Gómez, José Jiménez “El Viejín” and Manolo Sanlúcar.

By his mid-teens he was performing professionally, and since then he has toured globally, accompanying top flamenco singers and dancers including Farruquito, Marina Heredia, Antonio Canales, Kiki Morente and many others.His style is described as full of sensitivity, cleanliness, and “granaíno” flavour — rooted in Granada’s flamenco tradition while engaging worldwide audiences.

Marcos Palometas continues to compose and perform, bridging tradition and innovation in flamenco guitar, and is recognized as a leading figure in the modern Andalusian flamenco scene.
