Hussain Al Jassmi

Hussain Al Jassmi (Arabic: حسين الجسمي), born on August 25, 1979, in Khorfakkan, United Arab Emirates, is an Emirati singer, composer, and pianist, widely recognized as one of the most influential and beloved artists in the Arab world. Known for his deep, soulful voice and his ability to perform in both classical Arabic and contemporary pop styles, he has become a cultural ambassador for Emirati and Gulf music across the Middle East and beyond.

Hussain Al Jassmi began his musical journey at a young age, showing remarkable talent in composition and performance. In the late 1990s, he founded a small band with his brothers called “Firqat El Jassmi”, which performed traditional Emirati and Gulf music. His breakthrough came when he participated in the Dubai Shopping Festival talent competition in 2001, where he gained widespread attention for his powerful performances. Shortly after, he was signed by Rotana Records, marking the start of his professional career.

His debut album, “Hussain Al Jassmi 2002”, introduced his unique sound and warm vocal style. Songs like “Bawada’ak”, “Wallah Mayiswa”, and “Ana Haweh” quickly became regional hits, making him one of the most promising voices in Arabic pop. Over the years, he released several successful albums and singles that showcased his versatility and deep emotional expression, including “Fegadtek”, “Bel Qaleb”, “Bahbek Wahashtini”, and “Zanah”.
