William Bradley Pitt, known professionally as Brad Pitt, was born on December 18, 1963, in Shawnee, Oklahoma, USA. He is an American actor, producer, and philanthropist, widely recognized as one of the most influential and acclaimed figures in modern cinema.

Raised in Springfield, Missouri, Pitt studied journalism and advertising at the University of Missouri before moving to Los Angeles to pursue acting. He began his career with small television roles in the late 1980s before gaining attention for his breakout performance as a charming drifter in Thelma & Louise (1991). His striking looks and raw charisma quickly made him a Hollywood sensation.
